SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Coulson Partners is looking for a dynamic, creative, self-starting Senior Account Director to join our Central London-based team delivering high impact strategic reputation counsel to an exciting and important range of clients. We work across private office, corporate, life sciences and litigation/crisis communications.

THE ROLE

  • Producing comprehensively thought out and brilliantly written strategy documents for delivery and presentation to CEO level clients

  • Generating creative ideas and content for campaigns and comms activations across all platforms

  • Developing trusted personal relationships with clients

  • Supporting CP Founder and Managing Partner across all client work

  • Overseeing day to day account management including workflow, deadlines and reporting processes

  • Line managing CP research and freelance consultant team, including oversight of daily/weekly monitoring reports and processes

  • Identifying new business leads and supporting marketing activity

THE CANDIDATE

  • Confident, highly motivated and self-starting creative thinker

  • Collaborative team player, with a positive can-do attitude

  • Discreet, with a strong work ethic and opinions

  • Results orientated and a belief in supporting ideas with robust research

  • A good all-round operator with experience in media, comms and/or politics

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and a ‘right first time’ approach

  • Excellent communicator, capable of taking the lead as both writer and adviser

  • Tier One media contacts

  • Entrepreneurial in approach to existing clients and new business prospects

  • Ambitious to develop career to next level – and dedicated to supporting junior team members to develop in theirs

EXPERIENCE

  • Eight to 10 years in media, corporate comms and/or politics

  • Extensive direct client-facing work across a range of industries and sectors

  • Proven track record in leading comms campaigns

  • Social and content creation

  • Good understanding of AI and its impact on reputation management

  • Strong history of successfully managing teams
