Government and media experience: Andy advised David Cameron in the four years leading up to, and during, the 2010 General Election. As Downing Street Director of Communications, he directly advised the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Before entering government, Andy was editor of the UK’s biggest-selling Sunday newspaper, the News of the World.

Coulson Partners: Since founding Coulson Partners in 2017, Andy has put his experience to work for a broad range of clients, advising on reputation, crisis, communications and leadership challenges.

Recognition: Andy is listed in the PRWeek 2025 Power Book, ranked no. 3 in the Top 10 Crisis and Reputation Management list. He is also included in the 2025 Spear’s 500 as a Top Recommended Reputation Manager, and is recognised by Chambers and Partners in the Crisis PR & Communications category.
