Murdoch is one of Britain’s most experienced media executives; Chairman of the PA Media Group, Independent News & Media since 2010, and Chair of the Scottish Professional Football League and Mediahuis IRL since 2017 and 2018 respectively.

He is also Director of the CMA and Panel Chair of the Office for the Internal Market (OIM) and Trustee of Royal Museums, Greenwich.

From 2004 until 2017 Murdoch was CEO of the Telegraph Media Group, after which he served as Deputy Chairman and then as a Non-Executive Director.
